Curcumin Induces Human Glioma Cell Apoptosis by Promoting Reactive Oxygen Species Production

Malignant glioma by surgery is difficult to completely remove, the recurrence rate high, survival period short and prognosis poor, which poses a great threat human health. This article mainly studies related process that curcumin induces cell apoptosis promoting reactive oxygen species production. In experiment, cells were processed Uppsala 87 malignant of cultured in vitro. 3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazolyl-2)-2, 5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay was used detect effect on proliferation cells. The each reagent group control treated with colorimetric treatment at 24 h. Use flow cytometry apoptosis. Cellular immunofluorescence oxidase inhibitors nuclear factor activation. Experimental data showed apoptotic 0, 2.5, 5 mg/l, diallyl disulphide groups 12.3 %, 19.75 % 26.44 respectively, indicating caused an increase promyelocytic leukemia line difference statistically significant (p<0.05). results show can inhibit vitro, induce differential expression apoptosis-related genes thus have apoptosiss.
